Job Description

The Information Technology Project Management Office (IT PMO) is responsible for providing the project leadership, strategic consulting, and process predictability required to obtain the maximum business value from PAIRM portfolio of IT projects and programs. We manage the planning and execution of PAIRM s highest priority programs and projects, organize and curate the master portfolio of work, and cultivate a high-performing culture through building trust and ownership.

A fresh perspective and a willingness to dig into problem areas is both encouraged and expected. The IT PMO organization is staffed with individuals with a huge array of leadership experience both inside and outside of the technology sector, all of which are glued together by a shared desire to take part in solving difficult problems.

As a PAIRM Project Manager you are part of a team of professionals who plan, perform and implement projects, programs and process improvement initiatives within the Information Technology space. As a subject matter expert, you will utilize your strong project and program management experience to positively contribute to the department s goals and vision. Strong communication skills, along with strong command over business processes are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:
Lead projects related to IT and Business systems and processes.
Plan, perform and implement process improvement initiatives.
Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
Determine project cost, resource requirement, and project timing based on scope and complexity of the project.
Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Collect data to identify root cause of problems.
Measure performance against process requirements
Align improvement to performance shortfalls.
Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
Survey and analyze best practices for techniques and processes.
Develop and create corporate communications plans to affected stakeholders.
Perform cost and benefit analyses.
Provide mentorship, training and support for junior Project/Program Managers.
